There are four dwellings in the Himalayas, collectively known as the ‘Chota Cha Dams of India’ and commonly known as the ‘Chardam Yatras’, comprising the four sacred Hindu shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri. I’m here. All these temples are located in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand in northern India.
Among the four frightened sites, Kedarnath is dedicated to Lord Shiva and Badrinath to Lord Vishnu. On the other hand, Yamunotri and Gangotri are dedicated to the Ganga and Yamuna rivers. In Hinduism, the chardham yatra is of great importance and it is believed that every Hindu should perform the chardham yatra at least once in their lifetime.
Char Dham Yatra is one of the most popular pilgrimage routes and millions of devotees pay tribute to all these religious sites to get rid of all sins and achieve salvation by the blessing of the Lord. I’m here. Every year he is visited by more than 250,000 pilgrims from all over India. Char Dham is also a favorite among foreign tourists who are blessed to see the heavenly natural beauty of the Himalayas and learn more about Indian culture.
His Char Dhams in Uttarakhand , can be completed at once in 10-11 days. These days, you can even visit Chardam in just two days with a helicopter service.
Scenic surroundings, high mountain ranges (Himalayas), dense forests, large valleys and enchanting surroundings allow visitors to breathe fresh air, experience majestic sites and relax.
